Street Vocals

A cappella live looping show. It is interactive, emotional and magnetic. Laura Guarch enhances the power of her unique voice with a very clever and up-to-date use of looping technology. The show flows from her own vocal arrangements of the most loved pop, jazz and soul songs to new compositions that narrate the performer’s adventures as a travelling busker, songs that will be featured in her next album. As well as engaging emotionally with the audience in the most pleasant vibe, Laura Guarch also turns her audience into a ‘live loop machine’ that accompanies her and ‘Lukas’ (RC-505) in their music layering.

Float

Float is a site-specific and participatory audio walk. You will be taken on an experiential journey through the Woolwich foot tunnel, from North to South, ending at a reflective vista of the river Thames and the city.

By the instructions of a child’s voice, you will be provoked into having both a physical and emotional response. The foot tunnel will become a social space where a communal river dance is taking place. Float will invite you to playfully perform, obey and defy the instructions participating in the overall choreography.
